Description
I am a craftsman that lives in Fairbanks Alaska, I make openers and bottle stoppers from antler and wood. I would love to see photos of your creations in the feedback! Also, I am happy to help you work through any installation questions and make recommendations. Here are my top installation TIPS: 1.NOT TOO TIGHT! If your bore hole is too tight the epoxy can’t do a good job. My rule of thumb is that if you can’t turn the opener into the hole by hand then it is TOO TIGHT! 2.EPOXY Matters: Don’t cut corners with the epoxy and use a fast cure solution. I recommend System Three T-88 which cures slowly and holds well 3.USE TAPE: If you tape off the head of your opener before installation you can keep it clean from epoxy residue and free of scratches. Good Luck, Nate
